• Mac OSX command line where to put licence key

From Sean Rima@1:2320/100 to All on Thu Jan 14 01:14:34 2016
Does the Mac OSX version use the reg key from the Windows version. I moved to a

Mac and whilst I have the command line working, it doesnt seem to find the licence key which is in my home directory

As far as I know, your reg. key should work with any version of Rar... I remember using mine at different times under DOS, then Linux... Still running fine <g>

Put it where you have the binary perhaps? I think that's what I had to do..

    Take care,

Unnder *NIX is should go in the /etc directory as per RAR docs. This
should, I believe, also be the case for OSX as well (I run RAR for the
    Mac myself).

I expect that depends on how you install it. I put in my home directory and it

picked up the key file immediately. I did not install it with ubuntu's package

manager since they are so paranoid, they only install old versions <g>
