    On Netflix. It was alright, well produced, but really light on technical matter. It was like 25% "home movie" about the creators' family and the upcoming birth of their first child, very touchy-feely.

    Right out of the gate, they explain (incorrectly) that AI models can take action: they cannot. The "models" (LLMs) are static data - they require "agents" to take action of any kind using the model as their primary source of "intelligence". Although the models are somewhat mysterious in how they operate (why they answer in the way they do, as was said in the film), the agents are not mysterious at all. Agents are written by peoople and/or created using agentic engineering (AI) - their source code is completely human readable.

    So, while entertaining, I found the film helped reinforce pervasive misinformation about AI technology.

    There's a lot better AI-related discussion/content on YouTube, though usually not as well produced.

    There's a lot better AI-related discussion/content on YouTube, though usually not as well produced.

    In the past several years, I've found YouTube a fairly interesting source of information. It's good to take everything with a grain of salt, but there are a lot of content producers putting out stuff on YouTube about a variety of subjects.
