I watched a YouTube video about a 40 minute flight from Parkersburg to Beckley, WV. The flights then go on to Charlotte. It's a flight
subsidized by the government for rural access. Beckley's airport gets
2 flights a day and maybe gets a passenger a day.
What bugged me was that the flight is limited due to subsidy rules to
30 passengers. They took the back half of the seats out. Why not take
out every other row, preserve the look of the interior and give people
some space (albeit for less than an hour) instead of cramming them all
at the front?
