The Synchronet web server does support HSTS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_Strict_Transport_Security

I'm running 'bbbs' behind an Apache reverse proxy without issues...

I blocked port 80 in my firewall in the end. I will make a reverse proxy anyway Sean
