    Hi Nick,

If negative feedback loop means a system in the Path line is stripping Seen-By lines, likely yes.

I'll try to get to the bottom of this. Not sure why it's happening.

    Hello, Rob!

Replying to a message of Rob Swindell to Nick Andre:

Same here. I just didn't have body-text dupe checking enabled for this echo (never needed it here), before now.

This is the first time I've seen it in here also.

Your older messages, and this one, include a unique Message-ID:
    X-FTN-MSGID 1:18/200 654b9ee6

which can aide in message de-duplication.

Looks like the ProBoard echomail program/support doesn't include Message-ID support (?).

Yes but it still compiles and works. How do I know? I have a copy of
the original archive John was given.

i remember someone released an older version for everyone. maybe someone changed the version number.

Dunno, too many lies over the years.

    content (e. body text).

My system has dedupe'd without any message-ID nonsense, for many years now.

Same here. I just didn't have body-text dupe checking enabled for this echo (never needed it here), before now.

i always have that shit turned on. ever since robert wolfe would flood everything when changing softwares.

no they don't. maybe 25 years ago, but most of it bounces back. that email address is widely used for spammers.

Furthermore, the Oct 26th documentation has John Riley's name all over it, and and only his email contact. so i guess we all have THAT

Not sure if it is because I am a version behind, or some other reason, but whatever dupes there were had filtered out when they got here. My board only has one copy of Sean's messages.

You likely have (body-text) dupe-checking enabled for this echo in SCFG.

The only dupe checking I have is "50 message CRCs". If that is the same as "(body-text)" you are correct. Otherwise, I don't appear to have that
    turned on.

Yes. But 50 is a pretty short history.
