From Joe Stollings@1:275/103 to All on Thu Apr 23 17:18:33 2026
I have Fmail and FastEcho telling my hudson message base is at its maximum size. There really isnt alot there and I currently only pulling FidoNet and FSXNet echos.

    BBS software is ELEBBS.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Use JAM messagebases for your echomail areas!

Hudson is (very) limited in space. I think the maximum storage size is about 16 MB total. And if you (auto) delete messages you will also have to periodically run a maintenance tool on it, to reclaim the space that was used by the deleted messages. (e.g.: ftools MAINT -H -N -P -T -X )

That's kinda what I figured. Know of any utils that will convert hudson to jam or will I have to go thru and do it manually?

    Thanks.
