  • 64-bit Text Editor For MultiMail/Win64

    I was wondering if there was a console text editor available for use with the 64-bit version of MultiMail for Windows? I really don't want to use notepad for this purpose.

    i'm not aware of any winwhatever editors like the old DOS edlin... that's the only editor i consider as a "console editor"... maybe you can find a copy of what used to be called qedit? i forget what i was using on my vista box... i think it was actually notepad...

    Hmm, I built a VM specifically for 64-bit CygWin, so you are right. I might just use that :)

    Bash on windows runs well too. You can just install nano, and multimail
    that way which is what I ended up doing as I'm just more used to the linux
    versions of things. (Currently using bash on windows to launch dosbox in
    a FS session so I can use good old bluewave. ;)

    Try to use Notepad 2. It allows to configure the default codepage to
    the same of Multimail.
