My gramps had a "never drink alone" rule. Actually, it was imposed by grandma, but she controlled the visitors.

You know what they say about Canadian beer ....

Which is odd because last time I was in Calgary smoking weed seemed to be OK.

Yes. Yes. yes it is, though I don't live in that rats ass stink of a town. I'm a
about 180 km east by north-east in a very small town. :-)

I keep on saying you need to move to Calgary ... It's so relatively cheap for me to fly into that place...

What does Toronto have which Calgary doesn't? The girls definitely look better and less inclined to play the game ...

I've moved there twice at different times (long story) and lived about 3 blocks from work.

I'd walk to work in the morning all bundled up in -40oC weather, walk home at lunch when it was +15oC often leaving my coat at my desk, and then walk home at the end of the day in the same -40oC weather as the morning.

The chinooks offer a nice break from the bitter winter cold, though one co-worker hated them because she got migraines.

Once thing I noticed in Calgary is it's a "dry" cold, so as long as you're protected from the wind it's really not so bad. When I flew back to Ontario I stepped off the plane in Toronto and was instantly reminded what a humid/wet winter feels like.
