    I wonder how the bad actors are getting such low level access to be able to install the malware in the first place.

    Love the note at the end, that your money is not being targeted... Though somewhere down the road you will be affected due to rising bank costs.

    The ATMs at my institution usually have at least two cameras on each
    terminal, so I am wondering how they are doing this without getting caught also.

    I guess I was going by the assumtion that the ATM machines were air gapped in some way, but I guess each of the branches still has to connect to a central cluster somewhere as ATMs are now all pretty much interstate / interbank, and gone are the days of point to point leased lines.
