    =========================

    Hello All!

    Fidonet from iPhone is now possible with new software: cross-platform FidoMail Mobile (FMM) client.

    https://apps.apple.com/app/fidomail-mobile/id6802163157

    It's free, available for iOS/Android (and also for macOS/Windows/Linux, but the interface is mobile-oriented and a bit ugly on desktop) and I'd be happy to fix all bugs and add new features.

    Some bugs have already been fixed and the new release is in review by Apple and should be available in 2-3 days.

    Support is via FIDOMAIL (in English) and RU.FIDOMAIL (in Russian) echoes.

    If FidoMail doesn't work with your tosser's AreaFix dialect, please establish a link with 2:5001/100 for AreaFix tests and I'll release a new version with all the fixes soon.

    Documentation is still in progress. If you want the app translated to your native language, ask me and I'll send you the language file draft for corrections.

    See you,
    dp.

    I'd like to test the Windows version of FMM. Where can I download it?

    Sorry, I've messed things up by opening access to a not-yet-ready-for-public-use server software called FidoMail, written in Golang. It's a very big project, in contrast with small FidoMail Mobile, written in Flutter/Dart.

    I've removed FidoMail access from the website to stop this confusion because the software will be ready probably in November at earliest (the goal was October, but...).

    Windows/Linux versions of FidoMail Mobile are here: https://fidomail.5001.ru/fidomail-mobile/latest/

    Probably need to write some FAQ..
