I'm up for suggestions. I posted one in FIDONET.TELEGRAM ..but now that one is incorrect. Yes.. I think it needs to be clearer that the "%REALNAME Firstname Lastname" command needs to be sent to @Fido2telebot, and not the current group.

I think the %REALNAME parameter is the first step. That one is "required". I missed that in the current welcome message. Stas uses that as a way to ensure we have real people participating before any messages get routed to Fidonet.

Moreover, some echoes require the name and address matching the nodelist (case sensitive).

Huh? A nodelist name match doesn't make sense if it's a "user"
coming onboard from the Tg side. Or.. are you doing an exact
Name+Node match for your own non-english echos?
