  • what are your hours?

    I've been getting more and more calls that go like this.. THEM: "hello, what are your hours?" ME: Mo-Fr 10-5, Sa 10-4, Sundays, closed." THEM: "I'm, sorry.. I didn't quite get that". ME: (I basically repeat that). THEM: "so, you're open Sunday to Monday?". WTF, I hang up. The "bot" sounds very
    convincingly human.

    Like I said.. the voice was VERY human-like and not robotic at
    all. I imagine that the call was part of a mass-scale
    experiment/test. It is NOT the first time this happened. I had
    a similar call a few months ago - the conversation went longer
    at that time! - and the entity eventually identified that they
    were representing Google.
