I like this better than the last kv-6.16.0 root/boot, mpstly because of gpm mouse on the console. Also note the brand spanking new gcc.

I noticed that too. My desktop is 6.16.0 but I've held the others
at 6.15.* for now.
Indeed, I think GCC needed an update for glibc-2.42.

I decided to follow your lead and get used to the mouse cut `n paste commandline thingy. I liken it to 'a chamber of sober second thought' nothing like the Canadian Senate but I couldn't come up with anything better at the moment.
The above kernel took around 38 minutes, building and packaging (tar.xz), on a 16 penguin EPYC processor. The fastest I currently have - a 16 penguin Ryzen - accomplished the same task in roughly 33 minutes.
That cut 'n paste thing kind of boggles my muscle memory but I'm
getting used to it.. ;)
BBS machine and laptop have four.
I'll get upgraded here at some point!

Hey Etta!
+1
if it compiles well with gcc 1.0 its stable c++ code :)
dovecot add incompatible config changes to 2.4,
However since then I broke down and am deploying kv-6.16.x kernels
again.

Myself, I'd settle for gcc 4 with straight c code. Good luck with
that. :-(
dovecot add incompatible config changes to 2.4,
The heathen bastards!!!
However since then I broke down and am deploying kv-6.16.x kernels
again.
did it fail ?
i just keep it gentoo, others try pentoo :)
but this require me to make a new mail storage host, and raise my
deploy price :/
No but I didn't wish to be caught with an EOL kernel and didn't want
to fall back to the latest longterm 6.12.x kernel. I seem to prefer playing with the latest.
i just keep it gentoo, others try pentoo :)pentoo? Is this one of gentoo's bastard children? Is gentoo turning into debian?
but this require me to make a new mail storage host, and raise myThat can and does happen.
deploy price :/
just remember have oldest longterm should work
i lost why, but pentoo developpers stopped as gentoo developpers
hope dovecot will be better in future or die
pentoo got made after many gentoo developpers want something core
diffrent
Hey Benny!
just remember have oldest longterm should work
Shouldn't be an issue. Is it?
i lost why, but pentoo developpers stopped as gentoo developpers
This is the first I've heard of it. According to google it is a live distribution for CDs and/or USB drives. They even claim 32-bit as
well as 64-bit versions. I'll probably have a looksee at it.
hope dovecot will be better in future or die
I've been having the same feeling about python except that I have
little to no faith given their track record. To me it looks like they are going out of their way to break everything, especially backwards compatibilty with themselves.
it is for me since xfs kernels did break somehing that makes it
impossible to recovery my old netgear raid 0 drive,
pretty fast to compared to a rasberry pi that used less power then
what ibm coldcabinet servers did :=)
if this happen, gentoo & pentoo will die

Not an issue here but have lost old hardware support in the past,
usually network chips. I never did get into raid even when I had suitable hardware in the past.

I imagine so.
if this happen, gentoo & pentoo will die
Along with Debian and all it's bastard children.
I hate python and make no apologies for it.
i had software raid 5, on my hp dl 525 1 gen quad core & 8 penguins
raspberry pi just freezed the computer room, hehe
let debian die
why hate python ?, is it not stable like python 2.7 ?, catastrofe
happen in python 3 imho :=)
