In my FIDOIN event I have a java script that I created that runs a
couple of other things and tosses the mail, but when it runs it
opens a normal sized window on the PC instead if being minimized.
This seems to have started a few months ago and I can't figure out
why. Anyone have a thought on this? It
was minimized in the taskbar before.
Do you have Options = XTRN_MINIMIZED (likely with other option
flags) in the [bbs] section of your ctrl/sbbs.ini file? This
correlates with
the "Minimize externals" checkbox in the SBBSCTRL->Terminal
Server->Config dialog.
My cfg for FIDOIN is this

Nobody has any idea what that custom .js script is doing. That's
probably what's opening a window.
And I also un-commented the XTRN_MINIMIZE in th sbbs.ini, but it
still
oper the window in normal mode.
You don't "uncomment" it... you add it to the "Options = " line.
