  • errors in Check BBS test

    I get three errors running Check BBS, here they are:
    0 guest accounts found, recommended number: 1,

    I have a guest account. I tried using makeguest and it made no difference. What unique characteristics does 'guest' account need to clear this error? Thanks again! It is my second user account in the user list. I also have this message "'Ricks BBS' BBS entry on vert.synchro.net is different than local" is there something I need to edit to clear this error? And one last one "Ricks BBS is not listed in C:\sbbs\ctrl\sbbsimsg.lst" I edited the list and tried to add my bbs to the list, no effect.

    The Guest account is supposed to have the 'G' restriction.

    Your BBS entry will need to export to the SYNCDATA echo on either DOVE-Net or FidoNet to reach Vertrauen. It could take some hours.

    And one last
    one "Ricks BBS is not listed in C:\sbbs\ctrl\sbbsimsg.lst" I edited the list and tried to add my bbs to the list, no effect.

    The sbbsimsg.lst is downloaded from Vertrauen automatically/periodically, so adding your BBS manuall is not the solution. I already pasted the link to the instant message list requirements.
