    It definetly isn't the Euro symbol. ;-)

    For sure the BBBS online editor isn't faking ISO-8859-1 with CP1252. I had to check after reading that most HTML5 pages claiming ISO-8859-1 are really CP1252
    which is difficult to tell. The "Was ist das?" line confirms it since if so-called LATIN-1 was indeed CP1252 then we'd have seen a Euro symbol instead of the "*" character.

    Good stuff to know ... sort of. I doubt it will matter much but you never know
    for sure.

    I noticed the last one I sent from there was successful except for the third character which for whatever reason got switched to "1" after saving it. It was correct while viewing it online in the editor. :::shrugging shoulders:::
