    I am back home and have installed today's version of Golded+ on my main system.

    No. Did you set XLATLOCALSET UTF-8 at the global section of the cfg? Before I did that, it didn't work properly.

    You can use XlatLocalSet UTF-8 in config file, so GoldED always will run in UTF-8 mode.
