The program in question called ESET Home Cyber Security.

Take this with a grain of salt.. I use them on older systems because
I have never had an virus issues while running them and they use
almost no resources and they should probably be considered added
protection rather than the Only protection needed, but I've used
both of these for many years..
WinPatrol and Spyware Blaster. I use the free versions but possibly
both have a paid version that does more.
What they do is, Winpatrol just watches all system files and will
warn you if something is trying to alter any system files, say to
automatically load a virus on reboot or disable other protection
or something..
Spyware Blaster modifies parts of the registry where it is
known viruses will install changes and blocks that somehow..
You can look into these. Maybe they are too light duty these
days but.. 41 years on computers and I've had one virus once
in all that time so the things I've used seem to be working.
But, admittedly, I am behind times and I mostly use a Windows 7
Laptop for most online work (not a likely target for virus people)
but I run Only Windows Firewall, the basic Defender updates still
being offered and those 2 protective programs above..
