Well its called "artificial" intelligence.

AI is not really genetic engineering of
bioforms, right? However, there is a research
frontier sometimes called biocomputing or
synthetic biology AI.
Artificial Intelligence refers as much to fake intelligence made by
artifice as it does to real intelligence made by artifice. Consider
artificial light, I have no doubt that it is real light. It is a
separate matter whether real intelligence can be made by artifice and
somewhat a contrivance that we consider fingertips to perform artifice
but a womb to perform nature.
