Dear comp.ai.philosophy,
Today, I got this reply from ChatGPT. "Something went wrong. Please try again later."
And I believe this is accurate self diagnoses. The "A.I." knows there's something wrong with it, and refused to reply further on how to break
simple geometric ciphers.
Now, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there with algorithmic de- scriptions of how to break simple geometric ciphers -- you know the kind
kids toy with on the back of cereal boxes -- but this attempt has broken ChatGPT, and it needs to go to an "A.I. doctor" to get help.
I may or may not decide to /try again later/. It partially depends on
where else I can find literature on this subject.
Best wishes, and happy breaking geometric cryptography!
For the curious, I got something useful out of ChatGPT with the foll-
owing prompt.
It's later. Try again.
