I am pleased to see that Bernd Paysan maintains gforth in Debian.
The version is still 0.7.3 but the good news is that gforth remain
officially in Debian.

Win version is not maintained at all and it's a six year old 0.7.9 ;)

I don't see it in Debian 13 "trixie".

Debian did not include Gforth in Debian 13, with the root cause being
that the former maintainer did not have enough time. Debian 13 has
been released, and it won't grow additional packages later; Debian
point releases are only for bug fixes (at least that's my
understanding).
But the package by Bernd Paysan is now in unstable and testing, and
will hopefully be included in Debian 14 "forky".
If you are running Debian 13, I recommend installing Gforth (either >(preferably) a recent snapshot or 0.7.3) from the tarball at ><https://www.complang.tuwien.ac.at/forth/gforth/>.

I tried to build 0.7.3 recently, and it is a tribute to Debian and gforth >that after many years the build from source still works.

That's the reason why I stopped maintaining the Win version. It turned...
out that WSL was getting better at running native Linux Gforth than Cygwin was running Gforth compiled from source, so it became a waste of time.
Especially with features in upcoming Gforth 1.0 like Wayland-based MINOS2, which WSL2 supports out of the box in WSLg, and Cygwin would be a very
time consuming port to get something similar up and running.
