Hi,
I always liked Paul Tarau. Just like Hakan,
his academic papers showed also superior
Prolog and other programming languges mastery.
In the past, to my knowledge, he has influenced
SWI-Prolog, by his answer engines, but he
probably also inspired a wider community
when going paths that trancend the WAM. He
had a long standing in logic programming.
If counted in decades and starting
from 70's Colmerauer, he probably entered
logic programming more visibly 2 generations
later in the 90's with BinProlog spanning
3-4 generations measured in decades.
Bye
