  • tls error?

    I have a script that sends an email message using mime and smtp. It runs
    OK on a 32-bit Tcl, with tls version 1.7.23.

    However, it fails when I use a 64-bit Tcl with tls 2.0b3. I get this
    rather weird error message:

    "perfora.net (mreueus002) Nemesis ESMTP Service ready"


    All else seems to be identical: same pc, same smtp provider, same
    settings, identical smtp/mime lib packages, etc. The only difference is
    the 64-bit build with a newer tls version.

    The error message has gone away by itself. I guess it was a temporary
    glitch by the providers.
