• tablelist question

Is there a way to recreate a tablelist widget to match its previous
settings exactly? In this context, this includes horizontal and vertical positioning within the scrollbars, any sorting by the columns, label
sort decorations, etc. The data remains the same, the user just wants to
avoid going through the same steps manually.

You can get a complete information about the sorting (including the sort arrows) with the aid of the sortcolumn, sortcolumnlist, sortorder, and sortorderlist subcommands. To restore the sorting, use the sortbycolumn and/or sortbycolumnlist subcommands.

To query and restore the horizontal/vertical view (i.e., the positioning within the horizontal/vertical scrollbar), use the xview/yview and "xview/yview moveto" subcommands.
