For anyone who doubted that google groups did once share the users IP
address in the clear, I present the following. You will also notice that
the 1st post from "Sigmond" who posted via Google Groups is using the same
IP address as the one from Snit. When Snit was asked why the IP matched -
he attempted to provide several different reasons for it. Anything to
avoid admitting he was posting as Sigmond of course.
As you can see though, Snit did post as Sigmond and made an effort to fool people into believing that Sigmond was another person. :)
Also contrary to Snits claims previously, Google groups DID share the
posters IP address in the clear. So much for no evidence of that. And so
much for Snit not using socks. h0h0h0

Some folk are able to falsify message headers.
I'd like my friend Brock McNuggets to comment on the evidence you have
provided.
Simple:
* This is a petty squabble from 2004. It is insane that Carroll brings it up over and over and over. MOVE ON. This is doubly true if NOBODY has anything to
add. There is literally nothing to add from 2004.
* Carroll brings it up in part so she can attack her ex over TWENTY FIVE years
later! It is not just about attacking me.
hxxp://al.howardknight.net/?STYPE=msgid&MSGI=%3Cvdovr1$8i6s$[email protected] nal-september.org%3E
hxxp://al.howardknight.net/?STYPE=msgid&MSGI=%3Cve3pf1$28etg$[email protected] ernal-september.org%3E
Why did he post those so much after it was dead and gone? What the hell is wrong with him?
* Carroll will, no doubt, actively seek to twist things by pointing to an off the cuff obvious JOKE from the time. Even if he did not get it was a joke then, it has been rehashed DOZENS of times. DOZENS! There is no excuse for his
behavior.
* Sandman at the time spoke of being able to forge IPs
* Gremlin has also said it is possible.
* My ISP at the time (CableONE) did not keep the same IP for long times.
* You could set your own IP (check network settings, not hard if allowed).
* Carroll had an account with my ISP.
So what exactly he did? Who cares? Forge? Get the IP from the ISP? Nobody can prove it. But this is just him spewing the same insane nonsense for DECADES.
He pulls it up when he has himself backed in a corner with newer lies, or when
he has not been getting the attention he wants.
AS he is doing this, though, note the sock attack in COLA (and here) is reducing.
His games are easy to see if you look.

I am not your judge or jury. To folk who weren't observing posting
behaviour at the time, it LOOKS as if you /were/ guilty and caught out. :-(
I was trying to help you prove your innocence - 'cause I can go right
back to 2004 with my BlockNews account.

As you can see though, Snit did post as Sigmond and made an effort

Also contrary to Snits claims previously, Google groups DID share

that. And so much for Snit not using socks. h0h0h0

This was all explained to you DB when snit invaded ACW.
The proof has always been there but you refused to believe it.
Snit's been bullshitting you from day one just like he tries with
everyone he comes in contact with.
The difference is that you fell for it hook, line and sinker.
And now you have no way to escape without looking like a sucker and
another notch in snit's engraver.
For a detective looking for the truth you sure got snookered David.

You think Snit might start doing that?
Do you think you're fooling anyone
with this nonsense David? You aren't. The facts are that Snit socked up as Sigmond. He made up a story about me having a copy of the floodbot which
he's tried to morph into denying he did that, but, that I showed I had "insider knowledge" of the bot. I had no such knowledge. He's been busted doing these things, David. He tried to use me as a source to support his weasel efforts about a forged IP address. There was no case of IP forgery here. The post from Sigmond and the one from Snit that I shared here came from the same IP address. They both came from Snit. He went well out of
his way to try and fool people into believing that Sigmond was another person.
He didn't call out any lies of mine, David. He demonstrated one of several problems he has with reading, again. That's why he got confused and jumped
on Carroll for the posts creation and not me. He didn't read for comprehension. He struggles to do that. It's not a game he's playing.
How much longer do you intend to play dumb about what everyone, including you, can all see here? Do you think this is benefiting you in some useful manner?
You were trying to help him prove his innocence. So what happened? Finally learned that he's not innocent did ya? :) He did post as Sigmond David.
Snit has been playing you with ease for a long time now. It's hilarious to see how much shade you try to give him when you've been his easily misled
toy the whole time. He deserves what's coming for him. And you will step aside, and watch, Just as you did with Jenn and Eagle. There will be no cease fire, David. He isn't Jenn and nobody is going to ask me to stop or tell me that he's learned his lesson. He will beg, just as they both did.
I will mock you as well as him as I continue doing what I did to them. You will do fuckall about it. He will learn what they both learned in the same manner. It's the same lesson plan. It's a very effective one as you
already know. <EG>
