• Group trashed, Linux is boring

Linux is boring -- which is a good thing. :) "It just works."

(Unless you're like DFS doing weird things to try to break it.)

    BTW, Linux 7.1 is out. Woo-haw! \o/

Distro lackeys cannot advocate GNU/Linux. They are all
technically stupid. That's why all that they can do is
allow a distro to install itself over and over. Big
    deal.

Yes, 7.1 is out. There is not much to note but if
one uses NTFS (I don't) then there are some improvements.

Also, there is FRED by default:

    <https://www.phoronix.com/news/Linux-7.1-Enabled-Intel-FRED>

My CPUs don't have FRED so I shut it off.

Nvidia 610.43.02, the latest in the Gentoo tree, builds
    with 7.1 without problem.

Thus, I am now 7.1 with Nvidia 610.43.02 (which is open source).

I advocate it in polish Usenet: download it, comprehend read it, in

I do it officially, but for some reason, you shame your own WWW site. So

Great! You have accomplished certainly far more than the regular
contributors to COLA will ever accomplish.

But Ubuntu is undoubtedly the WORST GNU/Linux distro that exists.
Ubuntu is evil in disguise and you should concentrate on other
    distros.

The group is trashed because of that fuckwit snit.
The same thing began to happen when he infiltrated TPG which is where I
first encountered this vile piece of trash.
He never made it out of the gate as he was asked to leave, which he did.
The last place a fuckwit like snit should troll is a gun enthusiast group
so even a retard like snit figured that out.

My MxLinux is still running 7.0.12-1-liquorix-amd64 #1 ZEN SMP PREEMPT liquorix 7.0-13~mx25ahs (2026-06-10) x86_64 GNU/Linux

I've noticed that there have been many kernel updates recently. More than
    the usual MxLinux release schedule.

    Any idea why?

    Yes.

"Security researchers" (of various levels of knowledge) started
feeding Linux source code into AI looking for exploits.

As a result, the Linux security list has been flooded with
    AI slop of questionable utility.

    IAW, you have nothing. (Natch.)

Anybody using a repository for most of their
packages is using a distro -- like you.

    You are a blow-hard.
