Some of the time I simply log out from my (totally unused) Google
account so that it doesn't interfere with using my tablet, however
sometimes I have to log in (e.g. when my bank wants to update its
app).
So, is there a way to stay logged into Google without it incessantly
doing things like asking if I want to save a password? My answer will
always be no!
Alternatively is there a quick way of logging in to Google bypassing
all the stuff about do I want backups and other such. If I could log
in quickly it wouldn't be such a hassle.

I never got asked to save my password - and I use a Google Pixel 6a with
a Google account.

I can't remember when I opted out of those "helpful" features, but I
think one option was in "Android System Intelligence" - "Customize the experience using your Google Account data". I turned this off along with
all other options which claim to "help" or "assist" me with anything.
