Why would Windows 11 be any different?

I used to run OS/2 and later EcomStation (from the company that took over
OS/2 after IBM gave up on it in the late 1990s) in VMs under Windows 7 and
8.1. But there is so little software available for OS/2 that I basically
lost interest in it and gave up.

It is now maintained as ArcaOS with the latest release in early 2025.

    Gawd..

I used to have to load it or Windows 3.11 on IBM P/S workstations, then
install Madge cards, and configure Token Ring with Banyan Vines. After
that we'd have to install either MS Office, or Borland Office - all by
    floppy.
