• AIX restrict with IPv6

    Hello!

    On AIX I have
    ntpd [email protected]-o Fri Oct 13 09:45:03 UTC 2023 (20)

    The IBM documentation does not specify how restrict is handled for IPv6 addresses.

    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/aix/7.3.0?topic=ssw_aix_73/filesreference/aixfiles191.htm

    E.g. how can IPv6 nets be specified?
    --
    kind regards
    Marco

    It should be the same as with an IPv4 net, using a mask, e.g.

    restrict 2001:0db8:85a3:1234:: mask ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:: nomodify

    The IPv6 addresses can be also enclosed in brackets.
