    Good day everyone,

I am trying to compile ntpd on a raspberry pi with trixie 64 bit and the HA= VE_PPSAPI is not being set by configure=C2=A0 Does anyone have any suggesti= ons on why this might be occuring?

Do you have the header from pps-tools (no -devel)?

    James,

thanks for the reply. I was testing a new stable release of the ntpd (ntp-stable-dlh-260328) and everything seemed to compile.
However when I looked closely at what was being compiled from the configure script, the HAVE_PPSAPI and the HAVE_THREADS defines were not in the
config.h file. Looking at ntp-4.2.8p15 is see these defines are present in
the config.h so my conclusion is that ntp-stable-dlh-260328 config process
    is broken

    Chip

    Looking at the stable release,
