    Picked this up on the cheap. This is the remake that came out in
    2023.

    So far I'm liking it well enough to keep coming back to it, and
    actually more so the more I play. Looking at my purchase history I've
    bought a number of RE games off Steam in the past but refunded each
    one of them.

    Looking at old newsgroup messages I think the original RE4 PC port
    that came out in the mid 2000's was a turd that didn't even have mouse
    support.

    This one isn't a turd and the controls are good.
