It's probably free for a reason!

The short of it is that this is a point-n-click adventure
game in the classic style with unimpressive pixel graphics.
The interface/controls are poor, and the questing is a bit
repetitive. It's hook is its setting (the game takes place
in the 18th century, investigating the mystery of the lost
colony of Roanoke from early American history). Superficially,
it's another lackluster Indie game, and from the little I
tried of it, I can't disagree with any of the complaints
made in the reviews. And yet... it has a certain charm and
heart to it; it's undeniable lack of polish belies the
passion behind its creation. It's not a good game, no, but
I can admire the effort put into it, and that endears it to
me more than it probably deserves. Will I keep playing it?
I don't know... but neither will I entirely condemn it like
so many other free games that have been announced on this
    newsgroup.

Grab it today, grab it tomorrow, grab it Sunday or grab it Monday...
but after that you'll have to pay.
