They're free games for a reason, but in fairness, this isn't a
terrible game. In fact, there were a number of free games on Steam
recently that were so awful /even I/ couldn't countenance giving them publicity. This one isn't anywhere near that level of terribleness, so
it's worth at least a _look_ before rejecting it. ;-)

I'll admit, the main reason I'm showing any interest in this
games is because the aesthetic reminds me the old XiaoXiao
flash animations* from days-gone-by. In truth, it's just an
asset-flip game; there's nothing artistically novel about
these titles. Still, it looks mechanically solid --if not
deep-- and I can see myself losing an hour or two in its
gameplay, but if you don't have quite the same nostalgia
for early-2000s Flash games, you might not feel the same way.

(If this game looks somewhat familiar to you, you're probably thinking
of "Battle Simulator Counter Stickman", a similar-looking freebie that
came out in late January. Like I said, these games are all
asset-flips, so are easy for developers to vomit out)

I know the artstyle isn't exclusive to it, but the first thing I thought
of is those terrible awful mobile game ads :(

My favorite stick-man flash game was
Defend Your Castle by XGen Studios https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/102209
still works with the ruffle player for flash built in. (I prefer to use Flashpoint as it doesn't seem to have the bugs that ruffle does with
Dungeon Robber, but you have to download it. Defend Your Castle is in
    it too.)

Surprisingly it's also on Steam, but it has poor reviews, apparently
scoring doesn't work right which impacts your ability to buy things
making it eventually unplayable, and it won't run on a lot of computers.

I tried Stickman Killing Zombies. Ran into a bug where I couldn't
continue after only a couple minutes. Don't bother.
