    It's Epic-Freebie-Thursday again. The games might not be that good,
    but at least we get two of them!

    #

    * The Ouroboros King
    https://store.epicgames.com/p/the-ouroboros-king-e1d547
    "What if we turned chess into a rogue-like?" asked nobody.
    People have been trying to improve upon chess for centuries
    and usually fail at it. This game's concepts may or may not
    be worthy, but the implementation is reportedly quite poor.
    Just stick with the original.

    * Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freaks https://store.epicgames.com/p/warhammer-40k-speed-freeks-12879c
    It's Warhammer 40K with cars. Take on the roll of the Orks
    and drive Mad Max-esque vehicles in a rather uninspired
    death-race. Not bad... but it doesn't stand out either.
    Although maybe I only feel that way because I'm so burned
    out on Warhammer anyway; it's a one-note franchise that
    desperately needs refreshing.

    Add them to your library! You don't need to play them, but you need to
    add them. Quick, The Number is getting hungry! You won't like The
    Number when she is hungry! ;-)

    See you next week for more!

    Hey it's free. It's not something I would've bought on my own for any
    money, but I'll give it a try.

    Yes. Yesssss! <rubs hands evilly> Take the free games. Add them to
    your library. You are well on the path to Numerology. Join our wicked
    cult and bask in overly large, unmanagable video-game libraries! It is
    the only way!

    Well, I gave it a little try before DS3 RtL started. About 3 hours.
    It's fun, you 'race' but with weapons and can gain as much or more
    points to win by destroying other cars as winning the race. Overall it
    felt like a much more limited mario cart. It's essentially online
    multiplayer, yes you can play a solo game against bots, which was the
    only way I could play. I tried to join an ongoing game, but there were
    so few, only two in my region, and it just sat there for like 10 minutes waiting to join, until I gave up and had to kill the game to start over.
    The game is very limited too, sure there's like 8 maps, and another
    mode where you try to bomb an opposing giant slow moving vehicle to slow
    it down, and you win the race by getting your teams, giant vehicle to
    the end. But I saw most of the game in that time other than all the
    upgrades.

    I'll probably go back to it after DS3 RtL, but only for a short period.
