Ah, Thursdays. Few people know this, but the name of the day itself
derives from the Finnish word /thurfa/, which means innocent or
playful. Innocent, or free. And play, like games. So, you know, 'free
games'. So the true translation of Thursday is free-games-day. Really!
Do I look like somebody who would just make stuff up? ;-)
Anyway, let's see what's going on at the Epic Game Store. Oh look,
free games. What a coincidence.

* Agent A: A Puzzle In Disguise

It's an escape room game with super-spy theming. Solve a
bunch of logic puzzles to move onto the next room until you
stop the evil villain's plan. Not a bad game (if you're a fan
of the Escape Room genre) but really not much more than that.
* Bad Cheese

Mickey Mouse crossed with Resident Evil 7. Part 1920s cartoon,
part shooter, part adventure, all weird. Which is both the
game's strength and weakness. If you can't get into the game's
oddball style, the gameplay isn't enough to carry it. But if
you dig the surreal tone, this one is worth a try.

Okay, it's true. I may have --just a little bit-- completely and
totally made up that whole thing about the Finnish origins of
Thursday. Will you forgive me? What if I said there will be more free
games next week? What, you will! Cool! See you in seven days!
