    Apple has released a new MacBook Air with the M5 chip it's faster, smarter, and has more generous memory.

    The main features: the M5 processor with a 10-core CPU and an updated GPU, acceleration of AI tasks up to 4X compared to the M4 and up to 9.5X compared to the M1.

    The base now has 512 GB (twice as much as before), and the SSD is twice as fast.

    The rest is unsurprising: 13 and 15 inches, Liquid Retina with up to 500 nits, up to 18 hours of battery life, a 12 MP camera with Center Stage, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, MagSafe, and a completely silent case without a fan.

    Prices: from $1099 (~86,000 rubles) for the 13-inch model and from $1299 (101,000 rubles) for the 15-inch model.

    Pre-orders start on March 4, and it will be available for purchase from March 11.

    The 512 gb is the same price as the prior model. That is not an upgrade,
    they just dropped the 256 gb model. The processor and screen are different.
