was a repeat offender, arrested for assaulting many women,
his identity and background is known. He was sent to prison.

The attacker (described as a 30-year-old man of North African/Moroccan origin with a prior criminal record) walked along the platform and randomly assaulted around 10–12 women, punching them unprovoked. One woman was seriously injured (e.g., perforated eardrum
and knocked to the ground). He then fled but was pursued on camera.

Similar events are happening in my country, Italy, as well.
The authorities are reluctant to publish the the race of the criminals
and are equally reluctant to label such crimes as bias crimes.
What I can say is that even 5 years ago Italy has not had any problems
other than the occasional creep now and then.
Currently, it is unsafe for unaccompanied women to walk the streets.
So tell me what has changed?
