    GOOD NEWS!

Let far left NPR get money from donors instead of the US government.

Left wing Marxism fails once more.

    <https://notthebee.com/article/npr-closes-climate-desk-fires-climate- reporters>

"es, failing NPR had a whole division of reporters dedicated to reporting climate hysteria. It would have been fine if they'd stuck to conservation
and science instead of the anti-human cult thinking that says we're all
gonna die if we don't stop the farting cows.

Here's the scoop from former Chief Climate Editor Neela Banerjee:

I've been at NPR for six years, and for the last three, I worked as head
of its (relatively new) climate desk. We were 10 people who did
ambitious, prize-winning enterprise and broke news. We launched an annual network-wide Climate Solutions Week that set the standard for cooperation
with member stations and that gave audiences a sense of agency and
inspiration amid the planetary gloom. We built a reporting collaborative
of more than 50 member stations which covered climate at the local level
and became tightly knit in the process. We broke down silos within NPR
and helped our colleagues at shows, podcasts and desks understand climate change in their contexts.

It was a grand run. Today, I was laid off by NPR. The climate desk no
longer exists separately but has been folded into the National Desk. I
have rarely been as inspired or happy as I was working with the nine
other journalists on NPR's Climate Desk, and I feel so very lucky to have helped you--and learned from you.

I'm finding my way forward, because as crushing as journalism can be, it
has often given me purpose, joy and friendship. Our desk was a testament
    to that.

I'm glad she made some friends. Everyone needs friends.

Hopefully they all get the help they need after ingesting too much Al
    Gore and Greta Thunberg!

They probably don't even know that billions of humans are enjoying life without an impending sense of "planetary gloom."

Papers all over are downsizing their climate teams as the 50-year
campaign to use the weather to enact Marxism has failed. ??"

The fact that NPR is unable to survive without government support shows
    how useless it really is.
The same theory applies to aid groups like USAID. If those global
groups are dying because US funding is no longer there then maybe it is
time for some other countries to step up and contribute.

Here's the scoop from former Chief Climate Editor Neela Banerjee:

I've been at NPR for six years, and for the last three, I worked
as head of its (relatively new) climate desk. We were 10 people
who did ambitious, prize-winning enterprise and broke news. We
launched an annual network-wide Climate Solutions Week that set
the standard for cooperation with member stations and that gave
audiences a sense of agency and inspiration amid the planetary
gloom. We built a reporting collaborative of more than 50 member
stations which covered climate at the local level and became
tightly knit in the process. We broke down silos within NPR and
helped our colleagues at shows, podcasts and desks understand
    climate change in their contexts.

It was a grand run. Today, I was laid off by NPR. The climate desk
no longer exists separately but has been folded into the National
Desk. I have rarely been as inspired or happy as I was working
with the nine other journalists on NPR's Climate Desk, and I feel
so very lucky to have helped you--and learned from you.

I'm finding my way forward, because as crushing as journalism can
be, it has often given me purpose, joy and friendship. Our desk
    was a testament to that.

It can... but it is also one of the most respected for being accurate. One of the challenges of such ratings on "leanings" is facts themselves are rated as having a liberal bias. If you speak of the evidence -- the science -- on
things such as climate change, gender studies, economics, pandemics, etc.
these are seen as having a liberal leaning. The world itself -- the facts of the world -- align more closely with the liberal world view. Of course, it is not the world with the bias, it is the fact right wing ideas are leaning away from facts.

Liberals TEND to focus on evidence and equal rights. Tend. There are many exceptions and of course not all liberals agree (though even if you look just at facts people might disagree). Conservatives tend to look at emotion and special entitlements for themselves and those they see as being like them (or those they wish to be, such as the very wealthy). They attack the poor and the minority, they reject evidence on climate change, pandemics, and more.

This means news -- which is tasked with being accurate -- SHOULD agree more with the left. To pretend both sides are equal would be to give up their responsibility of fairness.

    Trump defeated inflation.
You love your MSM mockingbird media indoctrination, don't you
    Hole-man?

rates are down, and inflation has been
    defeated."
    Donald Trump, Sept 22, 2025
