    on all my devices and all is good.

    Technically you could test iOS on a VM, but you'd need to find a
    properly working iPhone emulator. There are a few around, but I don't
    know how good or bad any of them are.

    It should be the year the OS is *released* (same with car models), but
    at least proper numbers are still better than the ridiculous code names
    that MacOS continue to use.
